Chasing Calbayog Falls

​ the waterfalls signage.

Van left the terminal. Original departure time at 7:00 am, delayed by 18 minutes.

​Arrived early to pay for my reserved ticket at Grand Tours Calbayog Terminal bound to
 Allen, Samar. I made the reservation yesterday. The fare is PhP 100.00. Just advise the 
​driver of the drop off area.

​Arrived at the jump-off point for my registration and guide.  The registration was Php10.00 and guide fee of PhP300.00. By the way, no cell signal at this area.  Comfort room is available at their office.

​My ride to the falls. Habal-habal rate is PhP200.00 two-way. It was a 15-minute ride from the Registration office. I had to wear my jacket as it was drizzling.

Finally, after walking for 20 minutes, this is 
​Tarangban Falls! It was a slippery trail due 
​to the rain. It was tiring but worth it.

​I arrived 45 minutes ahead of our agreed habal-habal pick up time.

I was thankful that my habal-habal driver arrived 35 minutes early.  I can return to Calbayog before lunch time.

Waited for either a van or jeepney. Luckily, I was able to ride a van with just only 1 seat  available. Back to Calbayog...
